Palace End Interest In Elliott News: Crystal Palace have ended their interest in Millwall midfielder Marvin Elliott, who is out of contract. Peter Taylor was reported to been keen on bringing the player to Selhurst Park but has now decided that there is simply no room for Elliott: "I know him very well," said Taylor. "But we have already got enough central midfielders in Ben Watson, Tom Soares, Carl Fletcher, Stuart Green and Mark Kennedy. "I would be interested if I had room." Despite being out of contract, Elliott would still command a transfer fee - to be decided by a tribunal - as he is under the age of 23. Leeds United have apparently joined Luton Town and Norwich City in expressing an interest in the midfielder, though contract negotiations with The Lions are continuing and there is still a chance that Elliott will be at The Den next season.
