Bad Press A question for all of us do we really get a bad press or do we just like to moan and feel we get one? My views are, we do take this week for example (11.03.07 ) The week starts with a news report that Chelsea and Spurs have had a massive ruck in West London but of the news reports I have seen they were more interested in showing the trouble that happen outside the new den against Birmingham. Which they even managed to report wrong they stated that it was Millwall and Birmingham fans rioting well correct me if I’m wrong but the Birmingham fans were no where near any of the trouble and most were still in the ground! I think it’s a bit more cynical than just lazy journalism I think that they have just realised that we as a club just don’t fight back and no I don’t mean with fist. As I say take this weeks example where is the statement on the clubs website saying they felt article(s) were unjust where are the letters asking for an apology?? They may have been sent but no-one knows so come on Millwall and Mr Till in particular lets defend our club , there should have been a bit that had gone along with the above story that said how much things have changed and quoted the few arrest this year etc. There was a post on the main message board that said something like surprised they didn’t use the Luton footage, this I feel is the apathy that the TV and newspapers want and expect from us! So come on one and all the next time it happens lets see people contacting the complaints departments etc. I know very little will be done but we have to make an effort and if we do maybe then the club will too!!
