After years of impressive friendly results and a couple of eventful tours we have decided to go legit and take MISA F.C. to a whole new level.
As with all things, if you want to do something you should do it, right. With that in mind we have assembled some ‘old heads’ to put together a detailed plan for how we see MISA F.C. evolving over the next three years. We should stress that all decisions are made through consultation and everyone at the club is a mate first and foremost so there are no cliques or ‘leaders’. We just needed to get things kick started after the successes at Catford so here is the plan.
As a member of the inaugural squad lets hope we are all able to look back in twenty years time and say we were there when it started. What has to be achieved in the first year is survival. These things tend to go belly up in year one, so we need to pull together not let each other down and most of all have a laugh.
Between now and next Sunday all those who wish to play for the Club need to find 30 pounds registration fee. This money will be collected by Keith McGregor, Neil Richardson and Tom Prisley and is critical to initial start up of the club. As you can see from the plan, throughout year one, we have a number of fundraising ideas, these are by no means the only ideas any others would be greatly appreciated and all ideas will be considered.
Neil, Tom and Keith (Thursday only) will be available on Thursday and Sunday to answer any more questions you might have. But in the short term we just need to get the money collected and registered with the league. Once we are in the league then we can start putting a calendar together for fundraising / social events.
I think we all know this is going to be a bit of a struggle early on. We will be in a shit league on a shit pitch probably two miles from the changing room but with the people involved, all of whom are top lads, we are going to have a great fucking laugh.
So get you money paid to Keith and let’s get cracking, lots of people are waiting for us to fuck up so don’t let them be right.
