Fan On The Board At Millwall, like most other football clubs, the board of directors will claim to be fans of the club. Whilst it may be true, moreso for some individuals than others, there's nothing better from a fans perspective than having one of their own representing them on the board. For Millwall's fans that came about in 2006 with the election of Peter Garston as the first ever "Fan On The Board". Peter took up the position after beating off the challenge of four other candidates in a well organised democratic election. Since taking his position in the boardroom, few would argue with the general consensus that Peter has done a great job and filled a void that has needing filling for far too long. Not too surprisingly, Peter's role has evolved somewhat during his time on the board but he still works tirelessly in an attempt to satisfy the demands of the fans he represents. Peter is well known to the Millwall message board community by the online username of either Gordon Hill or Yasser. On the message boards, he can often be seen joining in with the banter and more light hearted ramblings, but he can also be contacted via the message boards for the more serious aspects of his role as director of our football club.
